Responsibilities:
- 1) Machine Maintenance:
- – Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on CNC & welding machines to ensure optimal performance.
- – Diagnose and repair electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues in CNC & welding equipment.
- – Calibrate and adjust CNC & welding machines to maintain precision and accuracy.
- – Replace worn-out or damaged components, such as motors, drives, sensors, and control panels.
- – Co-ordinate and work with vendors to resolve machines issues and ensure safety is being observed.
- 2) Electrical Systems Maintenance:
- – Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, switches, and control panels.
- – Troubleshoot electrical faults and perform repairs to ensure the safe and efficient operation of machinery.
- – Upgrade or retrofit electrical components to enhance machine performance and compliance with safety standards.
- 3) Safety Compliance:
- – Adhere to safety protocols and standards to maintain a safe working environment.
- – Conduct safety checks on CNC & welding machines and electrical systems to identify potential hazards and take corrective actions.
- 4) Documentation and Reporting:
- – Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repair logs and equipment history.
- – Report major equipment issues and repair requirements to the maintenance supervisor or manager.
- 5) Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- – High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training in electrical.
- – Minimum 10 years proven working experience as a CNC machine maintenance technician with electrical expertise.
- – Strong knowledge of Fanuc CNC systems, electrical circuits, and control panels.
- – Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and technical manuals.
- – Experience in machine installation is preferred.
- – Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- – Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- – Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
